Ingredients:
- 1 cup milk powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ghee (clarified butter)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon saffron threads from Saffron Links-Mogra
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- Chopped nuts for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Soak saffron threads in a tablespoon of warm milk.
- Heat ghee in a pan. Add milk and bring to a boil.
- Stir in milk powder and cook, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.
- Add sugar, saffron milk, and cardamom powder. Continue to cook until the mixture starts to leave the sides of the pan.
- Let it cool slightly, then shape into small balls or discs.
- Garnish with chopped nuts if desired.
