Shahi Paneer (Royal Paneer)

Preparation Time:

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams paneer (cubed)
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1/4 cup cashew nuts, soaked in water
  • 1/4 teaspoon saffron threads
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 2 tablespoons ghee or oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Soak saffron in warm milk.
  2. Sauté cumin seeds, onions, and ginger-garlic paste.
  3. Add tomato puree and cashew paste.
  4. Add saffron milk and spices, cook.
  5. Add paneer and cream, cook briefly.
